Was it last night, or not?

Was it last night, or not? I don’t’ know, some times is as if I always see dreams, long vivid ones. As if these exist in my soul and reveal their truth over and over again, till I will realize their secret meaning, the essence, the key…

It is funny; sometimes I see them during my awakening life. I see visions even in the tube, while I wait for the traffic light to turn into green… Is so easy for me to let go of everything these days.

I was in a beach. A huge beach, as long as the eyes of a human are able to see. I loved it; I was walking barefoot, the warm and friendly sand was touching protectively my feet, while the sun and the wind, these ancient gods, were flirting with my linen dress. Around me mountains covered with golden-green eternal olive trees, fresh green oregano, scenery so very Mediterranean… so very in my blood. The absolute eternity of the moment…

Sea was my obsession, my religion. I melted my eyes by looking her changing movements according to the will of the playful wind. A constant, on-going quest was my glance on her. I was searching… as long as I am leaving I am condemned to search. But this search would never exhaust me. I would die if I was not able to search.

I looked over the horizon. It created cities of clouds and men out of fog… ‘Choices’ I heard. Yes, my choices should not betray me. Mistakes are made for people but not for me, only for the others. I sat on a rock that the sun, the sea and the clouds had created. And I fell asleep. As if I knew… After years, months, minutes, I don’t know how time counts some times, the boat came to the port. Nobody was waiting this beauty. Magnificent, like a tired swan and nobody inside. It was for me… The gift I always had but I was never able to ‘see’. The warehouse of my soul. It was the ship that has four boxes on. The one wrote ‘pain’, the other ‘passion’, the other ‘death’ and the last one, ‘birth’…

The elements that touch the soul of every single human being. Symbolically these four words will demolish us, will give us birth…. Because this is the fate of the mortal. The magnificent fate… To evolve, at any cost.
